Drew Carey Dream

Last night's dream:

I was in the audience of the new Conan O'Brien show (it was his first episode back on TV and his show was "The Late Late Late Show with Conan O'Brien"). He was very pumped to be back on the air and was dressed more casually than usual - in a blue polo and khaki shorts. His first guest was Craig Ferguson, another late night TV host. The two chatted and then Conan pulled out a VHS tape of old Craig Ferguson comedy monologues. They put it into a VCR and a DVD menu came up. Craig pointed out that the last "episode" on the DVD menu was the first episode of the Drew Carey Show, on which he played Drew's boss. They played the episode, which started out like this:
Drew Carey was walking down the street, cranky and singing to himself. He was dressed for his job, which was working at a place similar to KFC. He stood behind the counter at work, hating his life, and finally decided to quit. When he did, he was handed a flier from a random other employee that was looking for an accountant (or whatever his job on the Drew Carey Show was), so he called the number.

And then I got to level 2 of my dream (I just saw "Inception" - AWESOME movie, by the way).

I was making coffee in the morning and went to rinse out my coffee pot to fill with water. I noticed the outer skin of a mealworm was floating in the water. I was really grossed out, so I went to check my coffee maker for signs of bugs. And then I noticed that it was covered in slugs. I frantically tried to kill them all, but they just kept appearing....

And then I woke up.

Tidal Wave Dream

Last night's dream:

I was on a long pier in Florida and a storm was rolling in. My friend Crystal was there with me. For some reason, I had two large suitcases of stuff with me, and I had completely unpacked and spread my stuff all over the pier. When the storm started, the waves were getting really big and crashing over the pier. I scrambled to pack everything before the waves washed me off the pier. For some reason, I knew that if I got everything in the suitcases and zipped them shut, they would float. Crystal told me not to worry because we weren't going to be flying home for 3 days. But I yelled at her because our flight was leaving in 3 hours! I looked over my shoulder and a huge tidal wave was heading right for the pier to wash us overboard...

And then I woke up.
